Osinbajo was in the state for the final burial of late General Adebayo
The acting president was met by governors Fayose and Akeredolu Acting President Yemi Osinbajo paid a visit to Ekiti state today, Saturday, May 20 to pay tribute to late General Adebayo who was buried in the southwest state.
Osinbajo was received by state governor Ayodele Fayose and his Ondo state counterpart Rotimi Akeredolu.
The photos were shared by Fayose's special assistant on new media Lere Olayinka on Saturday afternoon.
Late Robert Adeyinka Adebayo was a Major-General in the Nigerian Army who served as governor of the now defunct Western State of Nigeria between 1966–1971. He was also Chief of Staff of the Nigerian Army and was Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy.
