Conor McGregor baits Floyd Mayweather with picture of his baby and UFC belts - now he wants 'boxing ones'

As if there was any doubt about Conor McGregor's focus for his next fight, the latest happy snap of his newborn son confirms it.

Irishman McGregor, holder of the UFC featherweight and lightweight titles, appears to be enjoying fatherhood after his partner Dee Devlin gave birth to little Conor Jack a fortnight ago.
The tiny tot is clearly his primary priority right now but, all going to plan, it won't be long before McGregor is ramping up his preparations to get into the ring.
After it was confirmed McGregor had signed the paperwork to take on Floyd Mayweather in a straight-up boxing match, he baited the American further with help from his baby boy.
"Let's go get some boxing ones now son," he posted with a picture of Conor Jr among his UFC and Cage Warriors belts.
McGregor announced, through a statement issued to MacLife which he owns a stake in, that he'd come to an agreement with Dana White and the UFC to moonlight away from MMA in the square ring.
“It is an honour to sign this record breaking deal alongside my partners Zuffa LLC, The Ultimate Fighting Championship and Paradigm Sports Management," Mayweather's statement said.
“The first, and most important part of this historic contract has now officially been signed off on. Congratulations to all parties involved. We now await Al Haymon (Mayweather's promoter) and his boxer’s signature in the coming days.”
Of course, the boxing belts Mayweather has set his sights on won't come from Mayweather. His world title, vacated when he retired with a 49-0 record, is now held by fellow American Keith Thurman.
