Nnamdi Kanu’s planned visit to former vice president Alex Ekwueme cancelled

- The planned visit of Nnamdi Kanu to former vice president of the second republic Alex Ekwueme has been cancelled - The visit was cancelled due to inconclusive arrangements

 - Kanu is also expected to visit families of IPOB members killed by security operatives in various protests The planned visit to a former vice president of the second republic Alex Ekwueme by Nnamdi Kanu was cancelled on Sunday, May 7.

 The visit gathered which was scheduled to hold at the Oko country home of the former vice president in Anambra state was called off due to inconclusive arrangements.

 Although a new date is yet to be fixed, Vanguard reports that the meeting was aimed at interacting with some prominent Igbo people on the way forward for the South-East and South-South region.

Kanu, who is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra would also visit families of members of the group killed by security operatives during various IPOB rallies across Nigeria. 

The media and publicity secretary for the IPOB Emma Powerful said in a statement that Kanu will make a condolence visit to the families alongside his entourage The IPOB also said its leader will visit sites were some of the members of the IPOB were allegedly killed since 2014 when the group began its agitation for the freedom of Biafra.
