Following reports which emerged yesterday that a Nigerian man, popularly known as “Aboy Life of Ginjah” was reportedly shot by SARs officials, a Twitter user has alleged that he was not actually shot dead by operatives of the special anti-robbery squad (SARS) on suspicion of being a ‘Yahoo Boy’. The Twitter User (@iamdamilosky) shared his story on Twitter saying that he was with the deceased before the ugly incident.
Dami said that Aboy fell on a sharp rod after he heard that SARS operatives were at Oyins Hotel. He claims the deceased tried running after he heard SARS were at the Hotel but unfortunately for him, he tripped and fell on a sharp rod. Some people have however questioned Dami's story as yet another trick to exonerate SARS officials from taking the blame.

He wrote: "ABOY tried to escape when he & others at the pool bar heard SARS were at Oyins Hotel, he fell on a sharp rod that pierced his stomach & hand.
"He was immediately rush to a nearby hospital, Subol Hospital & was rejected. His friends then rushed him to General Hospital where he died.
"SARS didn’t shoot ABOY. The SARS operatives didn’t even come to raid the hotel, they came to see the owner of the hotel. "I was still seating with ABOY the whole day, didn’t know his death was nearby.
"The whole event is just unfortunate. "Come online to see a blogger write a completely false story is just appalling. Its very bad, just because u want to gain viewers to ur blog "The pictures he attached to the blog post is valid and the video is from yesterday when his friends came to Oyins to destroy the hotel but.. "…but were stopped by the Nigerian Police Force from Ikotun and Idimu division who were invited by the manager of the hotel."
