So it's not remotely surprising that Madonna chose to strip completely naked for her latest Instagram outing - as she proved on Sunday evening.
The 58 year-old, who shot to fame in the 80s, flashed the flesh in a very cheeky post to her 9 million followers.
The image, which she seemed to quickly delete, saw her sunbathing in her birthday suit.
Although nothing explicit was visible to the casual observer, it was clear she wasn't wearing anything to protect her modesty.
In a second shot she posted a snap of herself wearing nothing but a pure gold necklace.
Impressed with her bold display, a fan wrote back: "Now THIS is the picture of a lifetime of hardwork, dedication, focus, healthy discipline, not to mention beauty. Kudos."
