This is the terrifying moment an ISIS gunman stormed Iran's parliament building in an attack with left 17 dead and several others wounded.
Iran's intelligence ministry said five of attackers who died in the assault had been identified as Iranians who had joined ISIS
CCTV footage showed people running and seeking cover as the gunmen strode through parliament's halls, firing their weapons and hitting at least one person.
 There is now a heavy police presence across Tehran, particularly in the capital's busy squares
Attackers also raided the mausoleum of revolutionary leader Ayatollah Khomeini in what was the terror group's first ever strike at the heart of the Islamic Republic. The attacks were the first ISIS fighters inside tightly controlled Iran, one of the powers leading the fight against the militants in Iraq and Syria
